How much does a wedding cost at In The Grove?

Every couple are looking for their special day to be unique. For this reason, we only offer wedding packages during the off-season months of December to February and June/July. We offer a blank canvas that is ready to add your individual ideas to make your day complete.

Can I just have my ceremony at In The Grove?

Yes of course! Our gardens are available Monday through Thursday for ceremonies. Fridays and weekends are set aside for couples who book their full weddings with us. Contact us to find out if your date is free.

How do you organise catering?

We have a great relationship with many offsite catering companies. Bundaberg is uniquely serviced by an amazing number of local and brilliant chefs and mobile caterers. We will organise all your catering needs once we know what styles and types of food you like.

How are drinks managed?

We arrange for a speciality bar area to be set-up on the day where your guests can either self-serve or we can provide you with a quote for bar staff to serve your guests. Please note that if you are intending to have measured spirits this must be managed by a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualified bar person that we can arrange for you.

Can I arrange hire equipment to be brought in by another supplier?

No, all hire items that are in the In The Grove pricelist must be hired from us. If we are unable to supply an item that you would like included for your styling, we are happy to source these items for you at 20% of the amount that we are invoiced for.

Can I make an appointment to visit the venue?

Yes, we recommend that every couple visits us to take some time to look around the site. Just email us a date and time that you would like to visit us. We can then talk about your wedding and prepare a personal, obligation-free quote for you to budget with.

What do we do if the weather is unkind?

We work with you in your wedding planning to come-up with an appropriate contingency plan. Whilst we cannot stop the rain or make the sun shine, we do offer sheltered areas under the homestead verandas, and we can relocate your ceremony to either the rotunda or the marquee.

Is In The Grove licensed?

In The Grove is a BYO venue that follows responsible service of alcohol rules. This means you will save on the high bar costs other venues would charge you. Many of the local alcohol retailers will deliver your order direct to our venue where we will store in a cold room to keep cool and ready for your event.

Can our guests bring their own drinks?

No, we do not allow guests to individually bring alcohol to the venue for their own consumption. In following responsible service of alcohol rules, all drinks must be supplied by the couple so they can be served out of a single bar area. Drinks will then be managed by our staff on the day.

Can we do our own decorating?

While we do offer an event styling service, we believe that individual decorations help make your wedding unique to you. Talk to us about working together to achieve a stunning look for your wedding with your own personal feel.
